I guess we can only hope now that she attends or, better yet, presents an award.

I actually think Britney has Social Anxiety Disorder.

A 4-track sample from Spears' new album is already being sent to some big names. The promotion has pretty much changed - Jive has chosen to sent it to blogs and web icons instead of the big vehicles which had never failed to underestimate Britney during the "Circus" era.
"Hold It Against Me" starts the ride with the dubstep inspired break and pumping beats that the fans are already used to. But it's only a little part of the surprise, "Antidote", the second track from the sampler, brings new cards to the table when it comes to the pop tart. Taking classes from Ke$ha, Britney showcases her rap/sing abilities alternating distorted vocals - think Daft Punk - in a disco-infused song. Best track from the sampler.

"I I I Wanna Go O O" is, perhaps, the weakest track on the sampler. The typical Dr. Luke bass and Martin's doll-esque vocals makes the song sound like a Sugababes' "About You Now" revival. Not quite there.

y'all need to calm down.. It's been only 3 weeks. Promo for albums doesn't start til around the album. Were still a good month and a half away from that. Y'all need to chill. From now on were going to make a list to go by.
1. Don't believe random blogs.
2. Keep things in perspective
3. If it's not confirmed it's false
4. No need to flip, we have video coming, album title, photos, etc.
Instead of using this whole anger on Adam from the Grammy maybe y'all should get the Oprah thing trending. That's something that can be achevied.

But I've read what we've gotten and have enough common sense to detect what's real or not. Like I said Adam 99% did not open that article to see it randomly say she was performing at the end. You all take it as "mind games" because you believe all the rumors. What he said was true, they don't have time to deny rumors that they've said before. Larry denied the Superbowl, which was too good to be true. The Grammys were denied the day of the single's premiere.
Just because a handful of you set yourselves up shouldn't equal me not "being around" when I come and try to talk some sense in between all this mess.
Soon you'll all be back on the praise when all the promo & news comes at the appropriate time.
|
I'm not talking about this. I'm talking about how Adam does his subliminal hint things for singles and such and etc.
And I'm not disappointed about the performance itself, I'm just disappointed about the mis-communication is all.

IF this is true, I will have to judge what, I I I Wanna Go O O ( ) is actually like. Hopefully it isn't too weak. Everyone's opinion is different.
This better not just be Dr. Luke/Max Martin productions on this album. I know we will see William Orbit but I also want to see Danja and Bloodshy & Avant and some ballads on this album!!!

That's definitely a good thing to focus on right now.
But it's hard to chill when (yeah, I'm bringing her into this because she has the best team in the game right now) GaGa's album is coming out in May and the GaGa fans have way more than what the Britney fans have.
Random thought: I dunno'. Maybe Jive is up to something (in a good way). Maybe they're going to promote the hell out of the album/single(s) 2-3 weeks leading up to the release. Maybe it's a way of maximizing sales in the digital age. Who knows, really?

I've been angry concerning this mis-communication between Brit's representatives and we fans for months now. I feel that we don't get the respect other fanbases do. We're subjected to multiple rumours, heartbreak etc and it would be nice if we got daily tweets now that the promo macine's cogs have started turning. It would also be nice to be let in to what promo we can expect this era.
This constant never knowing is really starting to get to me. And whereas I understood last era that Brit wasn't ready to be interviewed etc, this era I was really hoping for a full frontal attack - the kind we used to get. Performances, appearances, shoots, interviews etc. We are one of the most loyal fan/stanbases and I feel that we don't get the respect we deserve.
I don't blame Britney. I blame her management and PR teams.
