I would prefer to stay neutral on the whole Gaga/Katy thing because I genuinely love both. The reason why I come across as more Team Katy is partially due to PRISM slaying me and ARTPOP being a disappointment and predominately due to the Monsters. Unlike the Kats, the Monsters are always really bitter and abrasive. Since I joined, Monsters have always been the ones instigating feuds and trashing Katy. Now I'm not denying that some Katy fans have been doing similar things, but there are Monsters doing so and they always take it further. The usual suspects running into EVERY Katy thread just to be awful. I naturally gravitated towards Katy because I felt as if she was being unnecessarily attacked by these people for no reason. Just because her song did better shouldn't have caused such a hatred among that fan base. Gaga herself didn't help things with her tweets, either.

The Taylor thing is another story. I LOVE Taylor. 1989 is flawless. Red is flawlessly. Speak Now is flawless. I haven't listened to Fearless or Taylor Swift in full but I've heard the hit singles and bet the albums are flawless too. So I hate this Katy/Taylor rivalry.

Ugh why can't Katy and Gaga and Taylor and Kesha and Rihanna and Nicki all just be friends and hang out all time

I never take apart in the Katy and Gaga fights between the stans, since I love both but personally don't really care for all those thirsty threads trying to drag either of them to make the other look better. Like some stans need to chill.

Um I'm pretty sure that Katy and Kesha haven't been on good terms since like 2011 and Katy and Rihanna haven't been super close since she got back with Chris.

The Katy/Gaga war is literally only based on Roar outperforming Applause. Yet stans had to make it much bigger. Now most monsters have "always hated" Katy, TD is her peak, she's declining etc. it's so annoying. They just need to grow up and move on.

Same with Rihanna. I'm sure theyll be sitting together at award shows again as soon as R8 happens

And the Katy/Gaga thing goes back deeper than that. I can remember getting attacked by monsters on twitter as early as 2011. It started basically because they rose to prominence together. Katy slayed Gaga until 2009 when she shat all over Katy. By the time of the aPOPalypse, as some entertainment outlets called it, they were established rivals and Katy snatching back ha crown just made things worse

That's definitely an interesting statement given that I've been sleeping for 8 hours and I just woke up
