It's pretty much everything 'Born This Wɑy' isn't, but tried/wɑnted to be.
RN1814 ***** all over BTW, and I'm not saying this because Janet has been around longer than Gaga.
RN1814 is a consistent pop/R&B album, and while some of the songs are dated, a lot of them are of high quality. It's my favorite Janet album. I wish she would get back into doing these types of albums instead of the filler, whisper mess she does nowadays.
I voted for BTW only because I haven't listened to RN so I am being biased atm. Lemme go take this opportunity to listen to RN and report back. By the way, I would like a Janet stan to let me know of some of her gems
