It's a classic and is the only contender out of those two that is entitled to be called album of a decade.

Janet should go back to this sound instead of doing whispery sex noise recordings about warmth & moist.

I'm actually surprised Janet is winning by a large amount. She isn't taken that seriously here and is always called "local," and the monsters dominate this board and think BTW is some type of Erotica album.

I like Born This Way but i'm going with Rhythm Nation 1814 .

I honestly prefer, as a whe, the lyrics and messages put forth by Born This Way, as I believe they are more explicitly inclusive.
That's not to say I don't like Rhythm Nation 1814. "Escapade" >>>> 16 of the 17 BTW tracks, by light years. It's probably my second favorite song to come out of the 80's. I also like many other tracks on the album and the messages they put forth.
