seeing as the show has aired everywhere in the US by now, and the rest of you are able to see the results online, i don't think i'm spoiling this for anyone... but there was something VERY fishy about tonight...
1. jessica sanchez completely slayed her song last night
2. she has NEVER been in the bottom 3
3. the start of the show said "expect the unexpected"
4. jessica sanchez turned out to be in the bottom 3 (with elise and joshua... and joshua shouldn't have been there either)
5. jessica was the one america supposedly decided to send home...
6. she didn't even seem fazed... just calm.
7. she started to sing her last chance song... and the judges rushed the stage and stopped her...
8. they have ONE save of the season and were running out of time to use it...
9. the judges saved her... and she tried to act surprised... i wasn't buying that either.
my theory... idol wanted to drum up ratings and push jessica even further to the front as a potential winner. what are your thoughts? do you think she was really in the bottom 3? do you think she was really supposed to be sent home? do you believe it? i don't...
I don't watch this show BUT I all have been hearing about is Jessica and she has been slaying. I think this was one of two things: 1) It was staged to give Idol a boost in the ratings for the upcoming weeks. OR 2) People didn't vote for Jessica because they thought she was safe because she has never been in the B3.
It could be, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. I mean, the girls are obviously voting for Colton and Phillip, Hollie gets the sympathy votes, and Skylar gets the country vote, leaving Joshua, Elise and Jessica.
Well she sounded flat when she came out singing WDKY, but she was superb the rest of the way...maybe that made all the difference. It's not likely though. It seemed staged.
Definitely staged, and it was so obvious. From the beginning of the show Ryan said "expect the unexpected" all of a sudden TMZ knew who was going home, all of a sudden the exec Nigel was tweeting about a shock elimination. The top 10 was getting boring, and this was the perfect time to shake things up. I wouldn't be surprised if Jessica had the most votes out of everyone. It was so obvious.

but if hollie gets sympathy votes why has she been in the bottom 3 for the past two weeks... didn't do very well last night... but was suddenly not in the bottom 3? something isn't right there. i don't think the deandre voters would have naturally progressed to hollie after he left the show. just doesn't make sense.

yes she did sound flat. lol. that's the worst i've ever heard her sound. i think she was in on what was going on... and didn't like it. but went along with it.

yeah, when i saw that at the start of the show i had a feeling we were going to see a "shock elimination." nigel had the results already before the show aired, but he wouldn't tweet about them like that, so something was obviously up, and this is the type of controversy they needed to get in the headlines. just wish they'd have been more convincing... haha.
This is why I stopped watching this show. The show comes off very staged now compared to the early seaosns. That chick passing out and that other falling off the stage during hollywood week speaks for itself.
Didn't the same thing happen with that Pia girl last year. Everyone's favorite but got kicked out in the middle?
last year they saved casey the week before, so when pia was eliminated they were like OOOP! but that didn't seem so staged.

idk... there was a lot about tonight that just seemed off. i wasn't able to vote last night either and i usually vote for jessica 1,000 times (by text), but i was sick last night and took NyQuil then slept. but it seemed a little too fishy tonight with both jessica and josh in the bottom.

Falling off the stage does not mean it's staged. It looked painful as hell
but at least you agree it was staged. 
At least Jessica got saved!
