Maybe it wasn't staged, because that girl knows winner or not she will be signed... She is the Jennifer Hudson of this season, she won't win, but she will be bigger than the winner.

It was so staged! They just HAD to use the safe this season as if you remember that giant-forgot-his-name was eliminated the first week so they were one contestant short and the judges were pressured to use it so the producers staged Jessica's elimination to make sure the save was used. Obvious.

It's Pia all over again, only this time the judges were smart enough to hold onto their save long enough for Jessica.

I live for Jessica and she's probably the girl with the most potential in AI in a long time I do think it eas staged. I mean they probably wanted to extend the shpw for a week + get ppl buzzing about this/create controversy.
There's no way she was the one. Look at her youtube views and compare it to everyone else... and look at her performances...shes on another level. STAGED

But since the voting was already over before the results show starts, I'm pretty sure the producers or someone on the crew already knows Jessica was leaving even before the show so they've put that, knowing it's going to shock the audience. Don't they have to prepare a goodbye video just in case the contestant really goes home without getting saved?

Yes, I think this show has become more staged. This season alone with the girl falling off the stage, another girl passing out ect. It seems too much all in one season.

I think it has more to do with the voting power of determined housewives and teen girls who got into Same Name Same Name, not because they gave a **** about his performances, but because he's a semi-****able musician type. I think they just rallied behind their guy when it was most important.

These same voters pulled hard for for Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze and even Scotty McCreey (not that he fits in that conventional "sexy musician guy" mold, but sometimes being a "good ol' boy" will get you just as far).

That's why I've not tuned in to the last couple seasons. You can gaurantee that the most attractive dude with a guitar will take the whole competition, or at least make it into the top 3. No other type of competitior really has a chance.
