I couldn't really remember 2002, 2004, and 2005 well so obviously they weren't the best ones but then I had to narrow it down and it took me some time to decide but I went with 2004 in the end. I think it was pretty much as lacklustre and crappy as the VMAs have ever been.
WTF, 2004 was one of the best ever I think... this year's was definitely the worst one. If 2004 would've had an actual host and better performances it would've been better, but at least the nominees were pretty good that year and when the artists won they didn't sound completely drunk like they did this year. Did you see Tyson of AAR??? he was totally smashed and made the worst speech ever.
