I saw it yesterday & it was fantastic. I'm currently reading the entire series.

I am hoping Jennifer Lawrence & the girl who played Rue get nominated. Lawrence was a magnificent lead & the scene where Rue died had me close to tears. They were perfect for they parts. Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) was also very good. Lenny Kravitz was exactly how I pictured Cinna, who really brought that character to the screen well!

Fantastic story, great acting, great plot, stayed true to most of the book with only minor changes. Can this movie get awards come Oscar time?

It had potential based on the book if done correctly, but sadly no.

Costumes and Make Up are probably its only chance for Oscar noms. I can see it getting a Golden Globe nom for best song too though.
