her label know that B2b isn't gonna be a big seller, to they added in a 2 pack cd so that if she sells 2 million get 4x certification, pretty lame if you ask me since both cd are lss than 70 min long together

She's not getting a double certification.

she is gettin double certification... just like shania twain did it... because they know that their cd are gonna sell like 50% of the last one they put 1 disc in 2...

^Billboard says that it has to be 100 minutes of music in order to get double certification. RCA knows that she isn't getting it.

I'm sorry but this time you're not right. the RIAA specifications say that a double cd album must go for more than 100 minutes to be certified as double. B2B lasts 73 I think, and 101 with the video.

well you know that but u know how are obsesive xtina fans who still believes that stripped has sold more than 12 million worldwide[which is wrong...even when xtina her self told to a magazine that her album sold 8.3 million at that time], and how they still believing that stripped has sold more than 4.5 million albums in usa...now we know thanks to hits that stripped sold 3.9 million albums...so her fans are gonna be like hysterical about her gettin 4x platinum

Even if 320-340K is solid, it's still a disappointing first week report. With all the buzz this cd had, all the promoting too...it was poised for like 500-600K or more. 320-340K just won't cut it unless this goes beyond double platinum.

And if you're gonna criticize me for that, don't. Aggy is right now the most talked about singer because of this new sound. If it ends up as a disappointment, she'll have a LOT of critics to answer.

I don't think it's a dissappointment. I don't get why her first week sales would all of a sudden just go up. "Christina Aguilera" sold like 230k the first week, "Stripped" sold 330k the first week, so this seems about right.

Issues?

Anyway, Christina herself said "Stripped" sold over 9.5 Million internationally. I don't know where those loons pulled 12 Million from. It's like Beyonce fans believing DIL sold 11 Million when in reality, it didn't (8.5 Million). Oh and Britney fans believing ITZ sold 9 Million when it actually sold 7 Million, as well as "Britney" supposedly selling 15 Million but it actually sold 10 Million.

Sales. What a controversial factor it can be in a "standom."

Who knows how much she will end up with this week. Longevity is Christina's strong point. Hurt could pull a Beautiful and she could end up selling a lot. I still see 4X Platinum as a possibility.

I see 3 million as a guarantee. There are a lot of single worthy tracks, I think she should suck it up and release "Oh Mother" in the future. That would be a huge Adult Contemperary hit.

340k is a disappointment, Mike? Really? I'm so obligated to bring up a few of your favorite arists who would kill to have that kind of success in their first few months even, but I'll leave that for somebody else.

Well, I guess the sales are in line with a. A new X-Tina Album, + b. A totally different sound. so yeah, 300k is nice for that. I know Friday, I'll be one of those 300k+

Oh i am so happy for my girl Christina..This is an extremely solid opening debut number(320-340) and she should be proud..I just can't wait for her to release those stellar tracks(Slow down Baby, Hurt, Still Dirrty) as singles possibly and then her album's gonna sell at least 3.5million..No argument about that..Least finals sales=3.5million...Maximum final sales=5million..Go Girl
