yep, I received the official e-mail.

^IDK. The Cm-ers are saying that "upcoming" doesn't necessarily mean next. But I don't think that it would make sense for RCA to mention it if it wasn't 2nd. But they took Hurt off the myspace page and switched it w/ Candyman. Maybe Candyman is the promo song and Hurt is the 2nd single. IDK. RCA is too vague. & she was on TRL and they didn't even ask her.

^ I heard a few rumors saying Candyman was goin' to be the 2nd single, but yesterday a friend of mine told me Hurt had been confirmed.

^RCA sent out an e-mail and her myspace bulletin said that Hurt was the "up-coming" single but people are speculating that it doesn't mean that it's 2nd. MTV said that Candyman was 2nd. Some people think that the label is pushing for Hurt and she wants Candyman.

I can understand why she wants Candyman. Hurt is more like a "pop" song, if I could say that, while Candyman is more her "back to basics" style, the thing she was trying to reach when she made this album, a different sound. But now I'd prefer a slower song like Hurt, and then another more upbeat like Candyman.

^I def. want it to be Hurt. The Grammy cut-off date is coming soon so I think that she should release the ballad now. Not to mention those soft-rock stations will play Hurt to death. & if pop embraces it, it could go #1. It also contrasts w/ the competition because they all have up-beat songs. Candyman should be the 4th or 5th single.

Then Christina lied? She said double discs were more expensive. Anyway, does soundscan include online sales? I thought it only counted retail? Anyway, I saw it for $18.99 at Target yesterday.

well I'll trust RCA this time. It's farr more reliable than Mtv, I mean, it's her record label!.

And I don't think they have decided on the 3rd single yet anyway, so Hurt must be the 2nd one.

^Yeah I think that it's Hurt too. Not to mention there was a lot of insiders at CM and LD who said that there's no way that it's Candyman. I also think that Back in the Day is 3rd. It was supposed to be the first then it got pushed back to be the 2nd or 3rd. Atleast that's what Primo said. There's also a remix of it already and it's on her myspace page.

If RCA knows what's good for them, they'd release "Hurt"...
