'Dark Side' is a fan favorite for many Kelly stans off Kelly's album 'Stronger'. There's been much debate about the third single and it looks like this is going to be it.
I'm interested to see what non Kelly stans or casual Kelly fans think of the song. Please, this isn't a thread to bash her or if you hate Kelly and can't form an unbiased opinion of her music, please don't bother voting. I am curious to see how this song resonates with the general public, not just her fans.
Back when the album first came out, a few of my friends where tweeting lyrics to this song. I never questioned them about it, but they're definitely more casual fans.
I think it's a very relatable song..the only thing is I think it starts off slow.. it's not an instant love. The song builds and builds kind of like 'Sober' but at the end I think it's pretty impactful. I really love it. Maybe it will just be a grower.. I'm not sure. I'm glad it should take off very nicely just because it's preceded by the monster that is Stronger.
The song has an amazing chorus, it's super catchy, and I like it better than Stronger. (It's the only song on the album I go out of my way to listen to. )
