Will it underperform? Not compared to her other releases (I think she will make it AT LEAST to 1M). All of her totals, to me, aren't impressive considering she always releases in the holiday season.

No it will gradually build up sales on the back of successful singles next year. It will end up with decent US sales. She's a slow burner album saleswise.

If she didn't snatch her 1 million during Christmas, I know you dont expect her to do it with a third and fourth single during the slowest time of the year. Loud only sold 1.6 million, her sales go down and down in the US. She will be lucky if this crosses the one million mark.

TTT is actually her 2nd fastest selling album in the USA.
It started stronger than GGGB (which also had a huge lead single)
It started stronger than RatedR (which was also released on black friday after a big era)
Also, her 2 last holiday releases Loud & Rated R both sold more the following year than they did during the holidays

Rihanna's US album sales have been VERY CONSISTENT 3 of them sold between 1 Million & 1.7 Million. One has sold 2.7 Million & One has sold 600k.

I have no doubt that once she s back in the USA, she'll do some promo throughout the year that will lead this one to another million sold.

Also, people forget that this was a re-release turned EP turned album at the very last minute and that Rihanna has not even set foot in the US since her album has been released.

#3 - #7 - #12 -#14. After a month, it sold only 370,000 copies, and it was released during the holiday season (the Black Friday week to be exact.) Her lead single, the biggest hit of her career, is currently spending its 8th week at #1.

She is predicted 100K next week...

And Rihanna has NEVER had strong weekly sales..... But her albums keep on selling with time.

It TTT doesnt get to Platinum sales after all then it will be underperforming. But TTT will end up the year with +500K sales... I dont think that is nothing to be worried about.

She just stepped out of a very successful era and I bet a lot of people are still waiting to hear more singles to decide and buy the album.
