Instead of the Big Mac, pick up an apple.

For me, cutting out meat was because of fear.

Agree, it seems like some people think that if you even eat meat once or twice a week there's something wrong with your diet. I eat chicken or chicken salads at least once or twice a week for the protein after a work out. And I don't think that's unhealthy.

Girl, what restaurants are you going to with a price difference like that?!
I've never seen a garden salad cost that much more than a burger. Only when they have meat in it does the price go up that high. And where are you getting a burger for that cheap?

We no longer live in a "natural" world, so I really don't see where people are going with this "eating meat is natural" argument.

What people also need to do is stop crash diets.

Sis you're a vegetarian? So am I. I haven't eaten beef in over 7 years, pork in 10, and I'm slowly straying away from chicken. I only eat eggs and seafood every now and then.

If I was worried about my health I would cut out salt first tbh. If you have heart problems salt is more unhealthy than meat.

This is so true. People don't understand how dangerous salt is. And it's put on damn near everything.

Girl, have you ever heard of McDonalds? All you need is 99 pennies
& I was talking about at the market. Organic food shopping isn't cheap. The cheapest thing is probably a bag of Lettuce

It's more about tradition than anything. I see your point but you can't expect people to give up on what's been done for thousands of years just like that.

Well I was raised on an island where we're dependent on our fish and our meet intake... just like some mountain people are dependent on what's available over there..

It's not fair to list a cheap fast food burger next to an organic supermarket salad. That's misleading as hell

It really isn't. That's part of the reason so many people don't bother, it's too expensive.

The only juice I drink is V8 Splash. Other than that I do water, coconut water, and vitamin water every now and then.
But **** that I have to have a few sweets every now and then. I literally crave chocolate when I'm on my cycle. I don't overindulge though and that's what people's problem is.
I do believe that if you're going to die, you're going to die no matter how healthy you eat. Some **** is invitable. Like I said, I eat healhty, but I'm far from healthy because of my disease. Life sucks.

Another 40 million in relative poverty, and then there are all the people that just can't afford that on their budget. Organic food needs to become cheaper.. I wish you weren't being so one dimensional on this... I agree with everything you guys are saying but you need to understand that a lot of people just can't afford it and don't know better.

Yea, you're right but that's probably one of the biggest factors to obesity.
Junk food prices in comparison to Organic food? & they wonder why obesity rates are so high in America.
$.25 bag of chips >>>> $45.00 salad.
