I don't think the OP has any idea what he's trying to say. He starts off by saying it's not necessary for survival to eat meat, then declares eating meat to be wrong, then says eating meat is ok as long as you killed it yourself in your handy local chicken-infested forrest, and wraps it all up by saying eating fish is cool beans. A big contridictary mess.

But coming back right now, it seems that so many of you missed my point completely. I'm not saying it's WRONG to eat meat - I personally would prefer the world to go vegetarian, but that's just not going to happen anytime soon, is it?

I'm saying that it's WRONG to treat animals cruelly and/or raise them for slaughter! You can have all the nuggets, burgers, hot dogs you want if your chicken grows up a chicken - IF it isn't forcibly impregnated or kept like this:



Don't you think chickens should live like this instead, and then be killed five years later? You might think it's the same; it certainly is the same end product, but it really isn't.

Sorry, but meat is ****ing delicious and I don't care where it comes from.

i love meat, but it's not like if I'll go crazy if I don't eat it.

But there's no ****ing way I'll replace meat with vegetables. That's all.

I think alot of people are aware of the meat processing industry, but it's just one of those things where it's families watch from their TVs saying "poor them" and gasp for a second, but go right back to eating their McNuggets.
