Can you imagine walking on a street and hearing 2 people arguing…
Quote:
A: "Gorrrl, if Talk That Talk gets cockblocked from #1, I'mma drag a bitch!"
B: "Ch… 4 went to #1. That's cause Bey is the KING."
A: "Right, LOUD never seen #1, yet it's sold more than 4 ever will. It's even sold FOUR+ million copies. You mad 4 won't sell 4?"
B: "Get out of here with that ****! Beyonce was #1 on FORBES, Rihanna doesn't even know what that is."
A: Who curr about FORDS when you have 11 #1 smash hits?
B: I do when you start cancelling your tours.

No.. you can't.
I remember I had an argument with a friend about Britney's '07 comeback, he said "didn't she cancel her album?" My reply was, "Nope! She released it, it sold 280,000 copies in it's first week, it ended up selling a little bit over 2 million copies." His reply was… "DAMN, that's a lot dude! How much money did she make?"
I woke up to real life and realized I wasn't replying to Kisuke…
Another time when some girl was saying Britney has been irrelevant since Toxic, I corrected her by saying "Explain how Womanizer got to #1 in less than a week and broke the best selling single in a week record? And how Circus is the 2nd fastest selling album by a female artist in 2008? The girl literally looked me up and down and thought I was crazy.
I was struck at how delusional the girl is.
Let me break it down for you in the nicest way --- although you might already know it, just a reminder --- outside of this 7 thousand member forum, no one really gives a rat's ass about who sells how much, where did this album debut, how much money did she make in a year, how many #1s did she score in 2 years, how long does it take for a song to go to #1 on iTunes, who is relevant, who is not, who could we discuss today, what Nicole tweet did Lady Gaga reply to, etc.
No one even knows that such details are being discussed in Pop forums.
The question is – did your ATRL character slip out in one of your conversations with your friends? Did you ever drag someone for calling your fave a ****? Do you hide the fact that you have your fave's album sales memorized? Most importantly, did you ever bring out statistics to prove someone wrong and they just looked you weird and changed the subject?
Let's share our ATReal Life stories.
