The burlesque soundtrack hasn't hit 500k in the US yet and wont touch Brit globally. MLJ is about as much Christina's song as Party Rock Anthem is Lauren Bennetts and FYI it hasn't outsold womanizer so please

I think he means "seriously dabbled" as in a complete shift from one genre to the next, or at least that ONE song known by her that isn't the pop/dance sound she's known for.

It depends. I would love to see her make a huge comeback. She's very beautiful & has extremely gifted voice. The only thing holding her back is that attitude. While Britney on the other hand may not consist of the same vocal ability or arguably as much talent. Shes still kind, sweet to others and really knows how to relate to people.

She always has at least one song of a different genre on her albums. (Even femme fatale has DKMW) Why should she DELVE into a whole different genre for one whole album? She makes pop music and there are different types of pop music. She shouldn't and doesn't have to change the genre she does.

Currently on Billboard, and iTunes makes my point still stand.
Billboard has clear rules for features, and all those millions that have been sold enters X's entire record catalog.
Womanizer only sold 3.1, and not much else ww, and MLJ will outsell that in a week or 2 in the states whereas ww it doesn't even come close.

Also, as far as female pop stars go. I think it's safe to say Britney owns urban pop music. I can't name or think of another female pop star who does urban pop on the level that Britney has.
