I just don't understand how anyone could find this song anything other than thoroughly mediocre, and that's if they like it? And no one's providing any reasons why it has any legimitate standing or quality to it. At least with the songs I love that others hate, I have reasons why I find them to be great.

See, that's the thing. I think a lot of people get confused with a song being catchy and a song being GOOD. I can admit that this wretched excuse of "music" is catchy but that doesn't make it any less disgusting or offensive. And yet, everyone laps it up.

"Bat Country" has something that a LOT of other songs do not have: The want and the need to have fun with music, which has been lost on many rock bands these days just trying to make a quick buck. A7F just want to make music that is fun to listen to and fun to make and I appreciate that, it shows with "Bat Country" but, as Johnny pointed out, "Beast And The Harlot" is better and is seriously so good that it might make A7F a deserving candidate for the renaming of the state of Montana. I mean, other than Joe Montana, who would honestly care that Avenged Sevenfold would be the new name of the state formerly known as Montana?

This song is alright.. it's my type of music but for some reason I'm not in love with it. Some parts of the song are good though. I think it's just the singer's voice in certain parts of the song that bothers me.
