^ Oh yeah I'm gonna rank them, but since the whole process is too difficult for me I decided to make a list of all songs that might make it and start from there

I already narrowed it down from 257 to 179 songs, but in the meantime let's do albums
Close Calls
These are albums that I liked but only listened to them a couple times:
15. Hi-Five - The Return
14. Kieran - Breathe
13. Ray J - Raydiation
12. Teairra Mari - Roc-A-Fella Presents Teairra Mari (or some ****)
11. Royksopp - The Understanding
Now on to the list of albums I absolutely loved this year
10. Goldfinger - "Disconnection Notice"

Goldfinger has been one of my favorite bands ever since I heard "Superman" in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater a few years back. "Hang-Ups" is my favorite album by them and Disconnection Notice doesn't sound like it at all, but it's still awesome and even though the first single "Wasted" was kinda crappy this album definitely deserves a spot in the top 10.
Period of obsession: February - April
Top 5:
1. Uncomfortable
2. Stalker
3. Iron Fist
4. Damaged
5. Ocean Size
9. IIO - "Poetica"

It took 4 years for this album to hit stores since the release of their first single "Rapture" in 2001 and I have to admit I was expecting better, you know with "Rapture" being one of my favorite songs of all time and other amazing singles like "At The End" and "Runaway", I expected this album to be full of similar songs, but instead they decided to put a lot of slow songs in there. This albums has some ups and downs but it's great overall and i hope they release a new single soon!
Period of obsession: May - July
Top 5:
1. Rapture
2. Tantric
3. Kiss You
4. Runaway
5. At The End
8. 50 Cent - "The Massacre"

He might be a single ***** and many people might hate him, but I loved this album and i think it's an improvement from "Get Rich or Die Tryin"
Period of obsession:: March - August
Top 5:
1. Ryder Music
2. Outta Control (not the remix)
3. Build You Up
4. So Amazing
5. Just a Lil Bit
7. Kanye West - "Late Registration"

The overrated CD of the year. Don't get me wrong, it's great and I love it but some people talk about it like it's the 2nd coming when there were better hip-hop albums this year. Overrated, but it's a solid album and I'm glad "Gold Digger" was a huge hit cause it's a great song (Kworb will agree) but College Dropout was a better album in my opinion.
Period of obsession: August - September
Top 5:
1. Hey Mama
2. Diamonds (original)
3. Heard em Say
4. Touch The Sky
5. Crack Music
6. Bobby Valentino - Bobby Valentino

Lowest ranked r&b album of the year, it's awesome but it can get boring towards the end. It would be lower but the amazing masterpieces "Slow Down" and "Tell Me" put it this high.
Period of obsession: April - August
Top 5:
1. Tell Me
2. Slow Down
3. Never Lonely
4. I'll Forgive You
5. Come Touch Me
5. Black Eyed Peas - "Monkey Business"

I was actually pretty surprised with this album since "Elephunk" was kinda bleh. I got this CD for free when i bought Usher's "Confessions" re-release and i have to admit it was love at first listen, I like almost every song in it and I'm pissed cause they won't release "Feel It"
Period of obsession: July - September
Top 5:
1. Disco Club
2. Feel It
3. My Humps
4. Audio Delite at Low Fidelity
5. Ba Bump (the beat is awesome)
4. Tony Yayo - Thoughts of a Predicate Felon

Best hip-hop album of the year for me. Yeah yeah i know he's a member of G-Unit but his album is actually the best out of everyone else (Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Olivia and even 50). It has a slow start but as soon as "So Seductive" begins, it's all awesomeness, and of course the fact it features Jagged Edge in "Project Princess" really helps
Period of obsession: September - November
Top 5:
1. Project Princess
2. We Don't Give a ****
3. So Seductive
4. Dear Suzie
5. I Know You Don't Love Me
3. 112 - "Pleasure & Pain"

Nothing will probably ever top the success of "Peaches & Cream", but i think this iis their best album to date, too bad it kinda flopped cause it's an awesome r&b album that never gets boring/repetitive unlike many others.
Period of obsession: April - October
Top 5:
1. Nowhere
2. What If
3. Damn
4. Last to Know
5. My Mistakes
2. Craig David - "The Story Goes"

Best r&b album of the year hands down. Surprisingly it got released in my country and i was like wtf cause Craig David is like super unknown here

Anyway I hope he releases stuff in the US soon
Period of obsession: September - December
Top 5:
1. Johnny
2. One Last Dance
3. Just Chillin
4. Hypnotic
5. All The Way
1. Garbage - "Bleed Like Me"

You all saw this coming. Best album of the year by far.
Garbage is my 2nd favorite band ever and when some idiot started a rumor that they're breaking up i swear I almost cried. Luckily it was false and later the band announced they're not breaking up. Anyway this album is pure perfection, every single song is amazing and one can never get tired of it. Never.
I thought nothing would ever top "Version 2.0" but surprisingly this one is better, it might actually be my favorite album of all time and I mean it. Everyone needs to buy this album, I swear you won't be dissapointed even if you're not a fan of this type of music.
Period of obsession: April - December
Top 5:
I had a rough time picking just 5 but:
1. Run Baby Run
2. Metal Heart
3. Bleed Like Me
4. Right Between The Eyes
5. Boys Wanna Fight
