Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see anywhere where he explicitly said "Gaga copied Madonna," so I don't really get the thread title
He said she read up on Madonna and learnt her life very well - which is true. She has read up on a lot of people and learned their life very well. That doesn't mean he thinks she copies - he could have meant influenced as well.
Regardless, there are people who think this and they are entitled to it. There are also more reputable organizations, like Time, who think this:
