Ok well I blame the record label to a certain point, like it's true what he's saying!
There wasn't enough promotion for the album!
But again we gotta look at the type of music he's presenting which is more pop appeal rather than his usual hip-hop/rap .. so the audience appeal is shifting and we have witnessed poor album sales for such artists like Taio Cruz, Jay Sean, Travie McCoy, etc ..
But considering that he does (should) have a bigger fan base than artists mentioned above, he could have scored 100K+ first week with proper promotion.
That's my opinion, now I think Liv Tonight should be sent to Pop Radios and 1000 Stacks to Urban Radios, and with some heavy promotion from the label. The album should sell more
