I don't know that she even really had Rihanna in mind when she made that statement, but it obviously applies and I resent her for it.

Not really, I'll give Alicia a pass on this one, only because I have to have a little pity for her in her failed singles state.

The red-hair is just an example and being like that "the diss" would apply not only to Rihanna but also to Gaga, Madonna and every popstar that has specific visuals to go with the music.

Poor Alicia though. She had to rely on Part 2 of a smash hit, a last-minute collaboration with Beyoncé (that flopped before a proper release), and a song written by Drake to have good album sales otherwise... her albums keep getting worse. She even made a whole album out of her affair with a married man. I guess she thinks real freedom is about being ok with yourself despite acknowledging being a homewrecker.

Why would Alicia Keys Have To Step Down To Rihanna's Level? Alicia Keys Album sold 1 million within 2 weeks....Her singles are Hits on R&B Urban Stations and thats her core adience look @ unthinkable no pop stations and is @ 21 without Digital sales and Drake has nothing to do with it...Its hating on someone just because they're successful while you sitting behind a computer...Wouldnt say any of that to her face would you?
