Rihanna also MADE Run This Town (actually it was her song she gave to Jay-Z) but still we don't see it on Rated R. Alicia's even released ESOM Part 2 as a single in UK (talk about milking a song and going for the easy ride); as far as I know the Beyoncé collaboration was indeed a last-minute thing. And I know she writes and composes 90% of her albums and that's why TEOF was so uninspired, monothematic (all about her love for a married man), with poor lyrics... Can't she talk about love without having to repeat the word "love" a thousand times!?: Love Is Blind, That's How Strong My Love Is, Love Is My Disease, Put It in a Love Song...
Anyway you know what? I'm just taking the piss! (Even though I have a point... a few actually!) I know she was probably misquoted and hopefully wasn't throwing shade at anybody just saying HER look isn't plotted without trying to imply anything else. Even because ain't nothing wrong with having visuals to go with your music especially for a popstar as long as the music is good.
I do think Alicia is talented (even though her last album is just meh), and don't really judge her actions. But things like "Why would Alicia Keys Have To Step Down To Rihanna's Level?" just piss me off. Maybe I just got too defensive because some people here are always trying to put Rihanna down. I apologize, Alicia.

She's talking about them DIRECTLY But she's talking about artists like that who brand themselves with looks and concepts. You dont even have to take it as Shade since she didnt bash it. .All she's saying is SHE Personally doesnt do that.
