I've heard from some gay people before that they find it difficult to have and keep other gay friends, maybe because of sexual tension, a 'competitive' vibe, self-loathing issues, whathaveyou. Where do you stand, ATRL?

I have one really good gay friend and a gay roommate who I kinda hate but that's about it

ALL of my male friends are gay Even the ones from my childhood

A handful but majority of my friends are straight

I have one bi female friend but that's it. Main reason being that living in the middle of Alabama doesn't actively provide me with opportunity to meet many LGBT folk

My best friend is gay but that's pretty much it. All of my friends are straight, with the exception of two bisexuals. I don't really get along with gay people.

Half of my closest friends are gay guys and the rest are mostly non-straight females.

No. Not one. Or at least, not that I know of lol I guess because I don't actually involve myself in the community to begin with. I don't go to pride. I don't go to gay clubs/bars. I don't do meet up activities for lgbt individuals. I don't care about making more friends anyways, straight or gay.
