im about to spend my Christmas money on a macbook pro in a couple days. but the complaints about the 2016 model is really turning me off. only 4 hours of battery life wtf?
ive never had a macbook before so this one will be my first. im going for the 13 inch model
apple didnt make the 2015 model cheaper. now why would they do that
I have the 2015 13" with Retina display as well. It's great and it has the ports you need...
I do think my battery life decreased a little bit even though I only got it this September but I definitely prefer it over my old Dell laptop.
As an Apple Technician, I would say 2015 is the worst ever, the logic board as all in one, no memory spot to upgrade or something and there is a lot of errors there

If u do get the 2016, get the non-touch bar model. 16GB RAM & 512GB SSD and you're pretty set for the next 4/5 years(you could say the same for the 2015)
2016 non touch has 0 battery life problems. The touch 13" has similar issues to the 15" the both get around 5-7 hours. Non touch can get 10.
Compared to the 15 you won't feel much difference. The main improvement is GPU. but you have longer battery life on these & also much smaller overall size & bezel size. Oh and the new screen is ****ing bright af. The hinge is no longer plastic too.
If ur not in a rush wait until the next refresh which will fix the battery life problems.
