i'm seeing a lot of anti-white jokes lately, about everyone with white skin, but it makes no sense since so many latinos are white, so many latinas are white, so many jews are white, the irish are white but have a history of brutal oppression and anti-irish sentiment is actually a real thing and the english empire oppressed them for the longest, so many arabs are white, so many muslims are white, so many middle easterns are white, and so on.

how do u define "white privilege", and does everyone with white skin have it even if their ancestors have been oppressed?

i did google it, but still don't understand since white skin isn't a golden ticket to an easy life. religion, nationality and class have always led to oppression. "white privilege" is over simplified nowadays, since even white people have been oppressed and marginalized by other "superior" white people in the past...

And that's where a lot of people start to go wrong. White privilege doesn't mean that any given white person has it better than any given black person. You can still be white and have real, legitimate struggles that aren't suddenly invalidated because of your race.

One is talented, extremely hard working, has been in tje business for 20 years and looks where she is now.

The other has no talent, doesn't have any performance ability and both earn the same and have about the same awards, winning AOTY 2x while the talented one has never seen one.

You just receive certain advantages because of the color of your skin. For example, I'm Puerto Rican but because I look white, no one is ever going to racially profile me.

This makes no sense because some of the most Grammy-awarded artists of all time are black and hip-hop albums are always over-praised by critics.

Music sells because of popularity, not because of an artist's race. That argument just makes you look bitter at another artist's success.

Well I don't think the implication by most are saying every single white person has some kind of winning advantage to other minorities indefinitely.
