Frank Sinatra is timeless. His music will live on forever. That being said, we do live in 2010. No one will ever try to be like Frank Sinatra again. Why make them sing songs from him when none of them are ever going to make a album of songs like that?

American Idol is over after this season, so it's not a big deal anymore. The X Factor will take over the U.S. and about time too.

Err, Seacrest has always been annoying as hell, I don't see him as the main problem for the ratings nowadays. Thing is, show is in its 9th Season, it simply won't get 30 million every day anymore.

They should make All-Songs week's to singers who marked the last decade, Artists like Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Usher...Heck, even Lady Gaga and Rihanna!

It'll feel more fresh and more current and I'm sure more teens & young viewers will be interested in weeks like this instead of a Frank Sinatra or The Beatles week.

Fot those of you that say no one can do Frank Sinatra anymore do the names.. Harry Conick JR& Michael Buble ring a bell. They are having great success doing that genre of music. Its good that AI pays tribute to legends in music.

Small exceptions will happen. However, none of the contestants will be singing that kind of music which is why the week is pointless. There are plenty of tributes to legends in music. AI did not need to do that.

And Buble isn't half as good as Sinatra was anyway.

i never watched AI cause this **** puts me to sleep, really. With the music these people sing it's like the shows target audience is my grandparents. i'm pretty sure the people on this show don't listen to these ancient ass songs so why be forced to sing them?
