Lately I've seen so many fan bases acting superior and belittling their favorites' dance-pop phase

Of course this doesn't apply to every fan but:
Rihanna fans calling her GGGB/LOUD/TTT music basic when most her hits are great bops.
Britney fans suddenly not liking FF when everybody was popping their bussy back in 2011.
Gaga fans shading her theatrical performances and constantly bashing Redone.

Because most of it sucks. There are obviously some gems too

I don't understand why. Selena's new music is nothing like her previous dance-pop, and even though Inpreder Revival, some of her dance songs are still my favourites in her discography. Dance-pop is great, really done get it.

You know damn well if her next album is some introspective/more experimental record some Arianators will start dragging My Everything/Dangerous Woman

This is something funny I've seen a handful of times with a handful of bases

There's a couple Gaga fans who have genuinely said that Joanne is better than other artists albums because it has "real instruments", completely disregarding the fact that 2/3 of her music is electronic.

Same thing with some Bey/Rih fans who say ANTi and Lemonade are amazing albums (which they are) but then go on and say that whoever doesn't like those two albums want basic dance/pop music like Loud or IASF which I find funny since these are some people who have been fans for years and that "basic dance/pop music" is a large part of why they stan them in the first place.

But it is only a couple fans from certain bases, most aren't that fickle TBH.

Uhm. Some of us never really cared for it to begin with. Everything isn't going to appeal to everyone, people outgrow certain things. It's not always about being fake different.
