Stripped is that album that went on to have the long lasting legacy and a bigger impact, though. Stripped is quoted as being a major influence by the subsequent pop girls more often that P!nk's album.

It's a great album. The title track, Respect, 18-Wheeler, these all could have been hits.

except Avril was already working on her album before Alecia and LA Reid signed her because he wanted to make her the Alanis Morrisette of the 2000's. And P!nk's album was pop rock mixed with R&B and soul while Avril's was alt. rock

neverless, it's iconic album by P!nk and Family Potrait is the best song of all time, so much quality and emotion in that song

I agree with most of those except for Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga, that's a bit of a reach.

Can you post those quotes? Stripped paved the way for nothing. If it wasn't for Missunderstood there would be no Stripped, Pink found Linda Perry and everyone wanted to work with her after that.

Beautiful was a song that was floating around for a while and Lina Perry gave it to Christina. No one cared about Linda Perry until Pink put her back on the map....

^^ This. Avril is a huge stretch considering Let Go wasn't as pop as Misunderstood, andUnder my Skin was alot more rock and heavy. And then out of nowhere she came out with The Best Damn Thing.... Avril is kind of all over the place when it comes to her sound.

Avril & Kelly perhaps, but Pink didn't reinvent the wheel either with that album.

Christina & Gaga? Not so much. Both of these supposed "offsprings" from Missundaztood are more remembered than the Pink album itself.

Saying M!ssundaztood paved the way for Let Go? Idk about all that sis. P!nk's album still had heavy R&B influence (Family Portrait, title track) and Avril was already working on her album before and when this came out. If anything, Michelle Branch was more influential to Avril who then took that sound and made it a little more rock.

Great album though. Wish P!NK would get back to real music.
