You're completely wrong. Everybody knows LA fought against the change in musical direction. And like I've stated, Avril said out of her own mouth once that she was listening to M!ssundaztood while recording Let Go. Most articles I've read state that Avril was a direct response to P!nk changing the game of the female pop star.

Like P!nk was a pretty accomplished skater. She actually spoke a lot about it during her debut era. I remember Avril could barely stay on a skateboard at the beginning and she wasn't even playing the right chords for her song Complicated in the music video.

Avril was seen, and I haven't used this word since I was in middle school 13 years ago, as a poser. I'd say her biggest selling point was her face.
