Except his policies aren't similar to Hitler's, are they? In fact, if you look at Hitler's three main aims for Germany, they are pretty much the opposite of Trump's:
- Remove the Treaty of Versailles - not really applicable in 2016.
- Grossdeutschland - the idea that all German speakers should be united in one country, with a supreme government. Trump's fairly constant view that there should be less federal involvement in state affairs and that more decisions should be made at the state level are pretty much the opposite of this.
- Lebensraum - expansion of Germany by force to increase living space for Germans. Again, stands against Trump's foreign policy of wanting to get involved in fewer foreign wars and, quite frankly, the wall.
Another significant point is that Hitler disarmed the population. Most importantly, he insisted that Jews should be the first to have their guns confiscated. Trump, for all his faults, appears to support the 2nd Amendment.
At the end of the day, this teacher has imparted his views on Trump to his classroom based on his opinion of Trump rather than factual evidence. He needs to do better
