I have noticed that there are several language enthusiasts in this forum so I thought I would create a little thread for us to share our language-learning process and #polyglot problems and experiences.

Oxford Dictionary defines 'polyglot' as:

1. My native language is Spanish, the southern Spain variant (Seville), but I can put on a standard Spanish accent with ease.
2. My second language is English. I learned it just growing up, I developed an interest through music and popular culture. I always made my family buy physical albums for me so I could read the lyrics in the booklet. So basically personal interest mixed with school.
3. I speak a bit of French, but I need a lot more practice. I stopped taking it this year, so I'm going to need to start practicing by myself. I can still have a basic conversation pretty easily.
4. Spanish: 100%. English: 90-95%. French: 50-60%
5. Being a polyglot broadens your mind, makes you more open-minded. You're more exposed to other cultures. Learning languages is a great way to gain knowledge about basically anything.
