Even though you are joking this is actually a real problem. People get angry when "exotic" animals are killed (and rightfully so because it's disgusting) but then they turn a blind eye and contribute to the death of other animals .
Yes. Do I agree that they matter as much as humans? There was a point recently where I was moving in that direction but when I read someone on this site call the animal industry equivalent to the holocaust, it didn't sit right with me. I would say they deserve better treatment tho.

No shade but it is, but it's an uncomfortable thing to bring up and it's personal to a lot of people so I understand why people don't like the comparison. It's probably not the best method to get people to listen to you.
Yes, and they should not go through the torture they go through, however many animals are there to be used for human consumption, and human lives>>>>>> animals.
