Yes! Meat and protein are necessary, plus animals taste delicious. So yes their lives matter to me personally.

They matter. There is no point in putting them in zoos and aquariums, or catching the exotic ones to keep as pets. Killing them for food is alright, but killing them for sport or any other reason is disgusting. Also the way they're treated by the meat and dairy industry is horrible.

I don't believe in killing animals unnecessarily or animal cruelty, but I eat meat and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I'm going to try to eat less meat for health and environmental reasons eventually, but that's another matter and I don't plan to ever be a vegetarian.

Um would you rather the world be rid of animals? A lot of them are going extinct already and for what? Game? Food? lack of territory? Who said youre any better than an animal?

Protein is; meat is not. There are plenty of ways to get necessary protein on a plant-based diet.

I know that but I'm talking for myself personally. I'll never give up meat simply because it's more efficient in terms of nutrition (protein-wise) and it tastes delicious. I was a 'vegetarian' back in hs for almost a year and I regret it wholeheartedly. Nothing tasted better than that homemade cheeseburger after eating ****ing tofu and soybeans for almost a year, pretending it's 'better' than meat. NOTHING

I don't feel any remorse for eating meat, but I kinda wish I did. I know it's hypocritical of me, but I do believe animal lives matter to an extent, and we should make sure that the animals we consume live dignitifully. We don't need fur, though, at least not real fur when we can make great-looking fur artificially (it's still tacky but to each their own).

Yes. If you're going to eat meat or chicken (and other animal products) you should at least buy free-range and organic, so you know that the animals were treated well before they died.

The problem with this is that they're usually more expensive (sometime even more than double the price). So people on a budget really can't afford them.



I found a place that sold organic milk around a similar price and last longer so I got that going for me I guess.

If someone isn't able to afford the organic/free-range products, that's fine, and it shouldn't be held against them. Sometimes there are organic products for the same price, but they're not as accessible or in every grocery store. If someone has enough money or access to organic products, then they should. In terms of taste, health, and quality of life for the animal, it's definitely worth it.
