Lets remember that everyone had to step up their games, when Gaga revived the artistic/conceptual music videos. She was all about amazing pop music/ outfits and concepts. Now Lady Gaga is not doing any of them and her new video is so simple.

I think she's trying to tone the outlandishness back so that people have lower expectations of her. Imagine if Gaga constantly felt the need to one-up herself? She'd go crazy

This is the real and authentic Gaga in my opinion. It's her first solo album era without a manager telling her to dress weird and giving her one week to plan a whole music video, and you can see that she's doing what she actually WANTS to do.

I'm definitely going to give her one more chance with "Joanne". I know she's capable of producing great music, it all comes down to whether or not she will. She's also very capable of producing really bad music.

Perfect Illusion was extremely disappointing in my opinion. The song tried too hard to be "rock", with all her screamy vocals and all, but the production itself has no punch or oomph at all and overall sounds like a demo. The video was also a let down for me. Gaga was the one influenced everyone to step it the f*ck up with the visuals and music videos, yet, she herself served a pretty forgettable video.

I'm REALLY rooting for her, trust me, I am, but I keep getting more doubtful...

I'll forever root for her. I don't consider myself a 'little monster' an all the delusion some of the fans carry. I am able to enjoy her music subjectively. She changed the game up and brought on a different angle to modern pop music as we know it. She's not afraid to be taking chances. She is phenomenal live [I saw her MB Tour in 2011 ]
