Not only is rap very un-musical (i.e. it heavily relies on text rather than harmonics or melodic motifs), the lyrical subjects that it discusses is often homophobic and sexist in nature. It's not very relatable for ATRL.

ATRL in general has awful taste. They are mainly into anything with a vagina that acts fierce and makes "bops" no matter how bad the music is. I don't understand why gays worship females like that.

Pretty much these statements. I already accepted it a long time ago so there's really no point for me in questioning/complaining about this site's major music preference. There are other sites that are majorly hip hop oriented and would feel the same way about female pop music as this forum feels about male rap.
