will schools soon start putting uniforms like these in schools to avoid any gender differences?

If we do move to unisex uniforms, I think they should be redesigned. I wore a unisex uniform when I was an exchange student in China and the uniforms are always baggy (probably to hide feminine curves and also to distinguish weight differences less), but they are also nearly always poorly designed.

We already had these at my school. Except girls could choose to wear the loose pants or skirts, the top was the same.. a sweater. I guess they're just banning skirts now? They should just be progressive and give boys the option to wear skirts tbh

we need more diversity and freedom of expresion, students should have the right to choose what they want to wear

My old school required everyone wear a certain polo and dress pants. But that was only b/c the girls used to raise their skirts up really high

Oh my god, seriously? Not when a couple girls at my secondary school purposefully wore skirts so they could... nvm

And to people saying uniforms should be done away with, I'm not sure. It works in the US but the counter-argument I heard a lot from teachers when I was at school was that it gives a sense of belonging and can highlight the differences in socioeconomic status between children, leading to bullying. (For example, popular Becky wears her Nike Air Forces to school while the disadvantaged girls aren't as wealthy as Becky's parents and wear very basic shoes).

that is more of a problem with teaching kids about bullying from their teachers and their parents at home. Wearing uniforms won't solve the issue on how kids will be scum on picking on poor children. We never had those issues in my middle or high school

No because male and female pants and shirts need to be tailored to fit the anatomy of each sex, you can't have pants meant for men with the seam way too high, there's no room for your penis and testicles. Just like girls need extra space in blouses to account for breasts.

Wearing uniform doesn't always have anything to with diversity and freedom of speech.

At least in my city, uniforms were implemented to avoid people cutting class and entering/loitering other schools. Also, uniforms are a good way to save money, instead of putting money away for a different outfit everyday, especially those who have multiple kids in school.

As for unisex uniform, it already exists. Dickies and a polo shirt can be worn by either gender.
