Fact. Note 7 is the most technically advanced smartphone of 2016. Nothing will come remotely close. Samsung is playing all it's cards right converting even the biggest Samsung haters into potential buyers. ( Me) We already know that the iPhone 7 will just be a spec bump. On sheet, it looks like yet another s iteration. With certainty iphone 7 will disappoint. Agree?

EDIT: still no, the iPhone 7 isn't having a design change because they're saving that for the iPhone 8 next year, which will be the 10th anniversary of the iPhone

Apple will never be over as long as the fanboys exist. Apple is "trendy", Android isn't.

i think apple is trying to jump off it's 4,5,6,7,etc line and this phone seems to be the bridge with it.

i don't think the iphone is over when half of the smart phone market owns iphones, and it's highest competitor (in a field of many, many androids) stays copying their ideas.

the iphone 7 looks like a flop, but it's whatever. i'm planning on getting one. i need to up my phone storage.

Android will never be superior. It's too advanced for people. You know why else people pick Apple?

They want something simple to work with. A simple operating system. Android has features galore, but not everyone has the patience for that. Never mind Androids are more prone to viruses and good lord if a 13 year old got his hands on an android who is just a casual phone user, it'd be filled with viruses.

Not to say iPhones can't get viruses, because they can, but like a Mac, it's pretty hard to get one.

I forgot about this, but yes, this is true too. Everyone who's following the trend (and doesn't know **** about androids) thinks that you're too poor if you don't have an iPhone. Middle class-rich people mostly think that.

It is sad, but it's how life is. We judge one another. It's just like judging somebody on their choice of clothing.

They aren't innovators. They are in trouble. Reminds me of Nintendo fans bragging about how they will still continue because they have so much money in the bank. That's fine and dandy but if your not innovating anymore then you see hemorrhaging of valuation and volatile market performance

Oh, I know they're not innovators. They don't bring anything new and exciting to the table except an expensive phone but they're still my favorite. Do you think the GP cares about anything innovative? They literally sell out all of their preorders (with the exception of SE I believe?) even if it's deemed trashy by people. People love iPhones because they're simple and effective and trendy and expensive. It's the same reason people love lamborghinis. Bigger and better is best. Never mind Android is ALWAYS advertised with multiple phones that people cannot keep up and they always advertise Androids as cheap.

agreed. it has become a status symbol. People like it because it's modern and pleasing to look at yet simple and easy to use. Nobody but techies really care about all the features of the Samsung phones because to most, it's still just an android and androids just aren't as "cool"... it sounds stupid but that's really how it is.

Exactly. As an apple fanboy and a tech person, I LOVE Samsung's specs but their designs on the back are not cute to me and if I take a selfie, I like the cute little Apple logo on the back. It's just how I am, I follow the trends.
