I prefer Apple but I wouldn't call myself a sheep. Shope? What's the singular of sheep? Anyway, I stay with Apple because the ecosystem is better. My iPad and iPhone link together for calls and texts while running the same apps. If I had a MacBook I could add that into the mix seamlessly.

I maybe would have cared about skins and how I could change my app icons as a teenager but as an adult, I don't care. I didn't even personalize my Myspace space.

As far as performance goes, I have zero problems. Apps download and install in under 30 seconds, even the really big ones. I never have any lag opening apps, running apps or switching between apps. My iPhone 5 takes great pictures. Like, I'm not a photographer and I will most likely never print out huge poster sized photos so what good do a lot of megapixels do me? My pictures go on Instagram and snapchat, neither show photos in their true glory anyway.

Lie lie lie. I've had an Android for 6 years and have never gotten a virus.

It's not really a lie lie lie that they're prone to them. Hours after you posted this we found out that 900 million Android devices are vulnerable to hacks. And the solution isn't easy because the OS is so fragmented.

iOS is the best mobile OS and iPhone is the best phone. It's kinda clear. Maybe you've gotten lucky or maybe you never knew if there was a malicious program running on your phone.

iPhone isnt what it used to be. Literally everyone can have an iPhone these times, the class is gone. That's why I still use my Blackberry. I looove the premium and exclusive feel of it. But iPhone >>>>>x5000>>>>>> Samsung, HTC etc anyways. I love my other Apple stuff.

It does when you don't make many things compatible with your device and people buy Apple stuff to work with their other Apple stuff. I will continue to buy iPhones because I have no desire to buy all new things. Lol

I mean, I hate Apple's products - I'm a Samsung/Android fanboy, but lbr the market would be **** to want to get rid of one brand. It needs competition for all technology companies to build bigger and better phones in the future. The iPhone at the moment feels very slow in terms of innovation and I agree with a comment above about it losing its' class because literally everyone and their dog owns one - even some of my friends who are unemployed claiming benefits have one even though they're one of the most expensive branded phones.

I was late as hell to the iPhone. Im a fan of iPads though. I bought my first iPhone after my first iPad. Phones are something that I have to have in my pocket that I dont want there.

iPhone isnt over and wont be for sometime. Many people dont want to sift through 40 screens and app drawers to take a picture. Many people like stable secure timely updates to their phones. Even Google's own Nexus line of phones only gets 18 months worth of updates from Google if you read the fine print. Additionally , it works well with other Apple products and the Apple Store exists in case you need to replace your iPhone right away due to damage or a manufacturer defect.

People claiming the iPhone is getting a spec bump when the Galaxy Note 7 is the Galaxy Note 6 with a worse camera and an iris scanner which may not even be practical... like that face unlock feature they were trying to push some years ago wgich is now largely forgotten.

I'll be moving from having iPhones for 6 years to the note 7 too, as I've read a lot of people are also. I definitely think its popularity is declining but it's far from over
