Oh, I definitely agree with this to some extent. That said, there's also undoubtedly a self-loathing tinge in some gay men that makes them almost exclusively obsess over straight men that they can never truly have and completely ignore other gay men.

I think it's understandable that we're all attracted to straight men given that they're the overwhelming majority of men on the planet. The problem lies when gay men are exclusively attracted to straight men and are unable to see the qualities they find appealing in straight men in other gay men.
