This is emberassing. Basic militar forces just follow orders. Moreover those soldier were just young boys. The officials should be be processed. But killing simple soldiers who just followed orders and refused to open fire against people... it's just barbaric.

John Kerry says U.S. would entertain extradition request for cleric Turkey's president blames for coup attempt. https://t.co/8i7dlYqWKU
Loving the shade.
They've already investigated him previously and found no evidence. You just know they're laughing at Turkey threatening the US.

The Turks have done ****ed up. I was rooting for them but a failed coup will be much worse for them in the long run than no coup at all.

Turkish PM says coup plotters not soldiers but terrorists who targeted parliament - Reuters.
Finally. Thank you for telling the truth, keep it coming..
You have people outside looking in thinking acts of violence were carried out by Turks. Clear their names.

I'm 99% sure Turkey will be in the EU eventually. It will probably take a long time though, since they're nowhere near joining atm. It seems most of the biggest players in both the EU and Turkey want it to happen now, and if that's the case then it almost certainly will, somehow, since at the end of the day they're the ones in charge and they can bend/change the rules if they become desperate enough.
Also, it's quite unsure what the future of the EU is now with so many issues going on. I could see them doing a major reform of it (that would allow the Eurozone countries to merge into one to solve the situation in Greece, Italy, etc, and would allow Turkey to "join" much faster than it would otherwise, and would be good enough to keep the UK in. Like a two-tier EU or something).

These are some photos after the soldiers surrendered, supporters of the ruling group were on streets. They are seriously disturbing so you might want to think twice before opening the links.
In the first one, they are trying to throw a soldier over Bosphorus. Bear in mind the soldier has surrendered and claims he doesn't know anything at all.
This second one is even more tragic, people apparently beheaded a soldier after shouting "allahu akbar" a few times. To think that they'll walk free without a punishment is even more saddening.
And in this one, I don't know what they are doing but it seems very familiar from ISIL photos that have been around forever.
These are the kinds of people (at least the majority of it) that is supporting them. We are at a very low point in our country and seems like there is no turning back
|
*I would like to clear up something, I just saw on twitter that in the third photo, apparently, the people in the photo were trying to save the injured guy from the angry mob, and according to what I saw they were able to get that guy to a hospital.

Thank you for this information; I wish you all the best over there!!
Strangely, now all judges are being replaced...
How democratic of Edogan.
If only there was proof and his politics could be sanctioned internationally.... but that is difficult at the moment as everyone has to rely on Turkey... which Erdogan knows; so in theory, a perfect time to "stage" all of this movement.

The fact that judges are being replaced means this was probably planned. Shame on anyone who killed for him.

2 The last remaining deep members of fetullah gulen cult decided to do this even tho they were not organized enough.
Because a lot things doesn't add up. We had internet / tv connection all the way. No communication lost. Party leaders were all safe and sound and was making statements on TV. If they had control over air traffic -all those jets flying and bombing- why they didn't just interfere the erdogan's plane and make him land somewhere else to get control of him. Why did they do this on a friday night ? Usually this kinda stuff goes down at dawn 5-6 am. People wake up to learn **** went down. Not witness. Why just block the bridge ? What's the importance of blockin that traffic ? Why were all the officials so calm ? Ofc they don't want to raise panic but even after the parliament was bombed still they were remained calm. Etc. this list goes on and on.
Results of this failure coup or so called coups are;
The country were already divided into two. People who are willing to do anything in the name of islam. even tho they are absolutely doin everything islam tells them not to. Just because erdoğan commands them to and since sometime now voters of him are seeing him as some sort of prophet. believing every word he says without even questioning. since lots of them are uneducated and raised like that.
and the other side who are still believin in secular system and wants to protect it. hell even the elections on this country usually ends up with %51-49.
and now islamist people are believin that they just prevent the coup from happening. that all the soldiers who did this are terrorists and threat to country. they were already hatin on people who doesn't share the same believe they had but couldn't do anything about it. (except for ramadan. every ramadan they are beating up people who eats/drinks/smokes on streets just because they can. they are "fasting" and acting against the rules of it at the same time. their ignorance level off the charts.) anyway but now they have more reason. if you are a minority; lgbt person, someone who is not actively participating in religous rituals such as prayers, fasting etc, or even have a different mindset from them they are willing to hurt you for it. and i'm not saying they are represent what islam is. on the contrary they are the furthest human beings that islam tells you to be. they are hatin on you in the name of islam but islam don't want you to hate one another.
this doesn't look like end up with a civil war but basically secular system basically just got destroyed last night. and today all the officials are on tv saying we just saved the democracy. they are not and were not following the rules of secular system since years now and they are now saying that they saved it and will try to protect it no matter what.
for the first time in forever in this country people who are extreme islamists (those who has long beard, has white weird hats, dressin long dresses) were on streets walking and praying out loud. because erdogan use the mosque's to make announcements all over the country to go out and protect the "democracy". they used religion as a tool for this to happen. there were call to prayer every 10 mins for 2-3 hours non stop. and the most ironic thing with that is those extremists are the ones who wants to destory the democray the most. they see females below them, they want to have multiple wifes etc all those stuff.
and now some hatin on soldiers and wants to kill them (some already have been killed, beated to death. there are some terrible footage out there.) . there were so many clueless soldiers participating in this. they were told they were just goin out to training. they are just 19-20 years old. not even ranked members of the military.
and some hatin on police and the goverment more. cause as i said this all leading up against secular system.
everyone blames one another and dividing more. and this is exactly what they want. to divide. they are gaining more power from these chaotic situations. like just an hour ago around 1500+ judge and public prosecutors are unseated.
no one can know if this was an organized houx or really attempted to do with an outnumbered military group. all for sure is that a group of powerful people want to make this country unsecular and be an islamic state. they are working towards this for years now. and now they are makin people bash each other while they just sit and watch. basic politics.
sorry for gramer mistakes. haven't slept in 20 hours.

After seeing all these videos I'm really starting to grow hatred towards the Islam as a whole. I know it's wrong but it's enough already.
I know there are good muslims, not talking about them, I know plenty of amazing muslims. But let's be real the majority of Sunni Muslims have all similar beliefs.

I hope they won't bring back death penalty. That's so regressive.
And where is that photo from? I don't think it's related to that.

Many probably hate you far more for being gay than the hatred you might be feeling so don't feel too bad about it.

I know what you mean sis. But I was always the first guy who would defend them because I felt sorry when I had to hear/read that every muslim is bad, a terrorist etc, which is obviously not true but I just can't see it anymore. I'm so getting tired of this.
Nobody deserves to die in the name of a book, of a god, or whatever else religion "offers". Believe in your god, say your prayers and respect every different belief. Is that really too much to ask for?

Not all are terrorists or are bad people, obviously. Their beliefs regarding women and gay people just suck. And unfortunately, these beliefs are mainstream in a huge part of the Muslim World.
