secular means separation of church and state. Religion shouldn't control how all of country's citizens should act as. When a country becomes secular doesn't mean you can't worship and believe whatever you want to believe. It means religion and religious symbols won't be taught in public schools or be in public places because not everyone believes in certain religion and even those who do, don't believe in everything that is written or what right-wingers want to brainwash them to think.
