many turks both from pro & anti-erdogan believe this was all staged to make ergodan more powerful. a leader who is fine with killing his own people in order to gain or benefit from it is not a leader
I dont really believe he's that bad Helicopters shot civillians, his supporters, this doesnt look staged at all.
Hillary HAS to support Erdogan. So does Obama. So should Trump. If the coup fails, the US still needs Turkey to help block ISIS combatants from traveling into Europe. If the coup succeeds, any new government is not going to spurn the United States.
Let's also point out that so far evidence suggests that it has failed.
I find the whole situation suspicious and I find it very scary that people fromTurkish origin are demonstrating in Europe countries with a blind support for the crazy Erdogan. I hope things return to peace for both the sake of Turkey and also for the sake of peace in the world
Not a fan of Erdogan and if the coup had been swift and bloodless, I might have said it was a good thing. Right now it looks like Erdogan has a pretext for taking steps to increase his powers.
Plus I'm not really a fan of people getting run over with tanks either.
I won't post the link, but @Conflicts on twitter has a rather graphic video of the carnage.
As typical those who run around dragging "liberals" are exposing their short sighted asses.
Ugh, I honestly wished something good came out of this but this is mess and the are government are going to double down on their bull****. Without the support of the people the military risked a civil war.
A total of 174 people killed and 1356 people injured in two different events in two different countries in 24 hours, what has this world come to, seriously?

*What has the world BEEN? I think that's what you meant.
