I think she just doesn't understand the connotations of all lives matter. Considering the rest of her tweets it seems her heart is in the right place.

This tragedy involves a BLACK person being, again, cruelly murdered not a bunch of people from different race or ethnicity warranting her to use the #ALM hashtag which makes no sense in the first damn place.

What is the problem saying All Lives Matter? Is it supposed to be something bad? Doesn't all lives matter? Or was it created to kind of pit it against the Black Lives Matter? I don't know guys.

Lots of people literally don't know what it is. I'm from the UK and have only really discussed BLM on the internet. I don't think we should let a hashtag define what people are actually saying.

It was used a lot in response to BlackLivesMatter as a means to undermine it, alongside BlueLivesMatter.

Obviously there are lots of people who are unaware of this and just take it as its literal meaning. I don't know whether AllLivesMatter was a common hashtag before BLM.

You don't have to be a relevant human or American to show support or concern, wyd.

I think the problem is that it's like having straight parades, but it's really a misunderstanding. It doesn't mean that only Blacks are important the most (there are other races too)

All Lives Matter

Whilst I understand what you're saying I think #alllivesmatters could be seen in a different way .. It could generally mean all lives as in no matter what skin colour you have or religion or whatever everyone lives matters .. what would be pathetic and useless is the #whitelivesmatter but #alllivesmatters can also be asians, gays, trans, spanish e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c

Yeah, I don't think she meant any harm by this. A slew of people who say or who have said All Lives Matter don't mean any harm by it at all. They clearly support Black lives too, but they say all lives matter because they fee that all lives should matter, which is somewhat fair. It's just going with the whole equality stance. Obviously, it diminishes from what is truly going on, but that's clearly unintentional based on what she just said.

I think it's obvious what she means based off of context. She doesn't seem to be aware how loaded that hash tag is though.
