It comes to the point that I just hate reading comments on YouTube, yahoo news, live link or any other social media commentary site because the comment section will be full of nasty, hateful comments by trolls a prime example was the whole #proudtobe movement, apparently was raided by 4chan trolls and that's why a video that was made to uplift the LGBT community after the Orlando shooting got so much hate I now avoid comment sections whenever it comes to social justice issues because trolls have ruined it. Like, if all you do is troll all day you need to jump off a bridge head first. Do you think trolls have ruined commenting?

The only comments I like are on the Guardian, because I agree with a lot of them. But yes, the youtube and FB ones especially are filled with trolls and hate.

Yahoo! comments are the worst of them all. It's always misogynistic, angry, racist, Republican men in all the comments. It could be news story about kittens and rainbows, and there will be a racist, angry misogyny comments in the comments section. It's really bizarre.

They are such an annoying mess. And the funny thing is that some of them think they're really smart and educated in their assessments.

This article here has close to 4000 comments, with virtually all of them spewing low key racism and accusing Black Americans of being the ones who are racist and divisive

I read an article about Makeup. Yes, literally, makeup. And the comments were full of Republican men saying how "It's disgusting how Yahoo is catering to Women" "Remove this from Yahoo" "I hate this new Yahoo update!" "I hate liberals" and "Fire the person who wrote this immediately"

Like they're so filled with hate, and it's gotten to the point where I'll never read comments anywhere. I hope they're trolls. But sometimes I worry that they aren't.
