Has anyone here actually purchased the vinyl? Like I'll buy it if it has download codes for the bonus tracks. I want the songs for my iPod, but I really don't want a crappy YouTube rip :/

Okay so apparently Empires is available for download on iTunes Sweden (so if anyone knows someone from Sweden y'all should talk to them), Lady Friend is available for purchase on iTunes US and I noticed on Amazon MP3 that you can pre-order Sunset Tyger which will be out on the 27th. So we'll have everything accounted for digitally except Sister Brother Mother Father.

This is kind of annoying (especially frustrating is the fact that Empires has been out for two weeks but I still have only heard a snippet) but I also enjoy that we are experiencing new tracks almost a month after the initial release

it's my favorite album this year so far
it sounds very fresh and i still wasn't tired of it, lyrics are great

but i find this bonus tracks situation is so messy
like wtf? why can't you release a damn 4 tracks with some deluxe/special edition? or even put this songs separately on each itunes store
it's like 5-6 weeks after album release and my local store finally have Sunset Tyger and Lady Friend
since Empires is available only in iTunes Sweden, i think it's not going to be released anywhere else. Thank god i found it on web in full
I just hope Sister Brother Mother Father will come in next few weeks

this release is such a mess..
i just asked the record company on their facebook page whether the two remaining bonus tracks ("empires" and "sister, brother, mother, father") will be released today or not & they answered that they are going to re-release the album soon with all four bonus tracks..
they said nothing about a cd release, but i guess that it will just be released digitally again..

ugh
I just hope re-release coming really soon and not only in Sweden

When I first looked in the thread and listened to the linked songs I thought that they were really boring. But I got back to the album a few days ago and it somehow clicked with me. Malin has a very unique voice and it fits the songs so well. Scar For Love is my fave song for now but I need to give the album more listens.

I agree. It's a great album, but you need to listen to it over and over to appreciate it.

Lost UB is one of the best songs on the album

Brand New and Shark City were the only songs that I didn't like on first listen but both have grown on me. And I didn't and still don't quite get the hype for Coconut Kiss. Like it is a great song but there are so many better songs on the album.
