Thank god. It is my favorite album of the year and the fact that there is a song out that I still haven't heard is driving me nuts. I refuse to put Sunset Tyger as the closing track though. Ode To Dance Floor is the perfect album closer.
So I finally gave this a proper listen. The album flows amazingly well and turns out as really solid. The problem is: LACK OF BOPS OR BANGERS. Only a couple of songs sound like something that could stand out but immensely fail. I guess The Drummersus, Jesus ease my mind and their best song by far God Protect remain untouchable. Next.

But who needs bops and bangers when you get this collection of flawless and just BEAUTIFUL songs. So classy. Very Fleetwood Mac, Cyndi Lauper and of course Prince.
Maybe it is just because I had some nice nights walking home with PIOMR and SMIH playing on repeat, but I actually feel like it was a good intro to the era. It isn't like they are gonna land a hit if their record label can't even get the album to iTunes in time for the release date or put it out on CD at all. So singles don't really matter
