yes. i think if you don't date someone you're legitimately compatible with and are attracted to it's just going to end badly and be a waste of time, so i'm pretty selective.

honestly, i'm like that because i made some really bad dating decisions in the past and i got burned by them

edit: but i'm selective based on personality, not really circumstances. i'd date a guy that's poor or unemployed if i really thought the relationship had a chance, but not someone whose personality i don't think would be suitable for me in the long-term

Not necessarily picky, but personality wise, it's important for me for them to be chill I get annoyed EXTREMELY easily and dealing with people daily really gives me headaches (), so I need someone who is very relaxed and calming.
