I was reading this article, and it says that Sony has offered to let her work with another producer.

She apparently feared that they would not promote her album, but if the album was good, even without Luke they might promote it. And even if they don't, it's not as if she can't promote it herself. Maybe I'm completely off here, but I just don't understand why she doesn't just work with another producer?

She's not forced to work with Luke, and she can make music still.

She's on Kemosabe records right? She has to deal with him anyways if he does anything if she's on the label.

even if she does record with other producers, I believe puke still has the final say in whether it gets released or not and god knows he's not going to let her release any music he hasn't had a hand in producing. that's why her lawyers are saying it's an elusive promise by sony

She can but Luke would still get some of the royalties because she's signed to his label, I think that's what she's upset about

Also it'd be very difficult to get things done when he's the head of her label & the two won't speak to one another.

Also Kesha doesn't want to be in a toxic environment

That makes sense, but the article makes it seem like it's this Sony Label that Luke works for, not that it's Luke's label. If Luke is the one who has the final say on her music being released, then that sucks...

Because she knows how is the industry after she came after his gold mine and ruined his image do you think they will be nice to her? NO, they would do everything in their hands to destroy her, they have the power and the money, actually this thing of not letting her go is to show her how they can **** up her career if they want, probably they are paying alot of money to the judge.

It's more about how he'll still have input, she is signed to his label too.

Also, he'll still get royalties and that's not what she wants, oh and no, before someone comes in here and says that's her just being greedy, I think it's more the fact she doesn't want someone who has abused her for so long, get money he doesn't deserve.

Why on earth would she want to release music on a label that backstabbed her and supported Dr. Luke's countersuit? They shouldn't get a single cent from any of her new music.

Sony has been known in the past to intentionally sabotage projects it doesn't support (My December). So even if she works with other producers and they actually release it, they won't support it.

"Work with" does not mean that whatever is created will be allowed to see a release.

He's her boss why is that so hard for y'all to understand? Even if he doesn't produce he's the head of kemosabe she has to deal with him either way besides the studio.

Luke didn't only **** her up, Sony did too. Why would she want to stay under Sony when they've been brushing her off?
