Gaga and Diane should release a joint statement where they very openly and honestly explain gaga's involvement in the crafting of the song, perhaps casually reminding everyone that they have been upfront about the fact that the song was essentially done when gaga was asked to participate, which should effectively prove that the academy was aware all along of the extent of Gaga's involvement and still opted to nominate her.
