Wow this is disgusting if real. While Gaga didn't 'steal' the writing credit but she got it with Diana's approval with no or littler input. Considering that Linda said it was supposed to be singed by another singer, it seems that Gaga only accepted performing this song if she got the credit. Linda just wanted to show how songwriters are struggling in the music industry when dealing with big artists

And Gaga is not getting all the credit. You're making no sense at all. The song is a collaboration hence BOTH the collaborators are credited and nominated.

Gaga might not have changed much but she's not credited for much either. In fact, she's only credited for 10% of the writing process. So I don't think she's taking unnecessary credit.

This is from the song's Wikipedia page, you claim that gaga has produced the song by her own but when you read about the creation & recording of the song, one realizes that her contribution might not look as big as it was promoted for by gaga's team and the media, this is what Linda is talking about. So if it is true and Diane wrote the song by herself and gaga made a small change as adding an additional line, then we are only left with the production of the song and I don't believe Gaga was the one who produced the song, so she doesn't deserve the Oscar nomination, she only should be seen as a performer of the song.

Our claims are based on what the CREATORS of song are saying. If Diane, who has been pretty damn stingy with her writing credits her ENTIRE career has no issues with admitting how Gaga changed the whole dynamic of the song and feels like she deserves a shared credit, then WHAT is the ISSUE?

This is what Linda is talking about, 10% and it is made by the media & her team to look like she has co-written the song with Diane from the scratch sharing her own personal story of being raped, in that case she doesn't deserve it.

Anyone who contributes to the song in terms of music or lyrics is credited therefore is eligible for a nomination. Considering Gaga did both (mostly the former), the nomination is fair and square considering she produced the song ALONE. There should be no debate about this. Linda Perry is a bitter soul

It makes total sense since Gaga herself admitted the song was finished in that sense.
She admitted she changed a few words here/there which is what Linda was saying.

Linda simply said Gaga has little to zero WRITING credit which came after deluded twitter monsters who THOUGHT gaga had writing credits, started attacking her.
She NEVER once complained about the nomination itself because those nominated are NOT just songwriters.
